How we create, review and update content — and how we keep editorial independence from commercial decisions.
We publish to help readers make good decisions about sex and intimate wellbeing — not to sell at any cost. Our guidance is written in plain UK English and grounded in credible evidence.
Health content draws on authoritative sources such as the NHS, the British Menopause Society and Brook, and is reviewed by a named clinician for accuracy. We cite our sources and date our content so you can see how current it is.
Editorial and commercial decisions are kept separate. Writers and reviewers are free to recommend the best option for the reader — including a competitor's. No brand can pay for a better review or a higher ranking.
We only publish genuine reviews based on real testing. We never invent reviews, ratings or testimonials, in line with UK consumer law (the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act). See how we work in how we test.
We review content on a schedule and whenever evidence changes. If we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and note material changes. Spotted an error? Tell us and we'll look into it.
Articles carry a named author, and health content also names the clinician who reviewed it. You can see who they are and why they're qualified on our expert panel.
